Golf College in Orlando

Originally from Westchester, New York, Tom has a long line of ancestors dating back to golf his great-uncle, as Tom Creavy, who earned the victory in the PGA Championship in 1931, defeating big as Gene Sarazen in the format match play. The final game against Denny Shute was refereed by Bobby Jones.

Tom was introduced to the game at a young age by his father and his love for golf blossomed soon after. Tom has played both in the U.S. Junior Amateur, Amateur USA, and many other events nationwide. A graduate of Stetson University in May 1992 with a degree in finance and accounting, Tom continued his pursuit of a career in the golf industry. Tom was the best player of the year in the Conference on Trans-America Athletic in 1992 and 1993, defeating Tiger Woods 3 and 2 en route to a victory in the Monroe Invitational Championship in Rochester, NY.

Since turning professional in 1994, Tom has played on several tours in the United States and has been affiliated with the Lake Nona Golf Club in Orlando, Florida and the Quaker Ridge Golf Club in Scarsdale, NY. During the summer months, Tom has worked for the teaching of Golf Digest Schools at the Ocean Edge Resort in Cape Cod After being a student of the game for many years, Tom has decided to completely turn off their attention to teaching courses in 1996. Through intensive training Tom became a certified instructor at the David Leadbetter Academy. Tom worked as an assistant first Leadbetter over four years. His work experience includes tours with the likes of Nick Faldo, Nick Price and Ernie Els. Tom has also worked with Leadbetter instructor at company outings to both the U.S. and internationally.

In September 2000, Tom Creavy began to run his golf school and business. Leaving the Leadbetter Academy, Tom began working full-time coach Ri Pak. Because together, Ri has won 16 LPGA events, including three LPGA Championships. Many LPGA and PGA Tour winners other as well as some of the nation’s top collegiate and amateur, to search for advice Tom. One and two-day corporate events have been part of the program complete with Tom over the last six years. As Director of the language of instruction Metro West Golf Club, Tom programs include lessons in full swing, short game, course management courses and consulting. Tom was an editor for Golf Digest and Golf Magazine, and has been featured several times in World Golf and Sports Illustrated. Tom most recently appeared in the magazine Golf for Women, Ri SE in January 2007 issue.

Tom likes to players of all levels of instruction to improve their game and become more consistent players. Tom was a resident of Orlando since his release from Stetson University. He is very involved in the community of Orlando and is married to Leigh Anne Hardin, a former Duke University All-American.
